Dr. M. Elisabeth Paté-Cornell

Dr. M. Elisabeth Paté-Cornell has been on ERI’s board of directors since February 2009. She is currently a Professor and Chair of Stanford University’s Department of Management Science and Engineering. Prior to leading the Management Science and Engineering School, she was an Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering at MIT. Dr. Paté-Cornell was elected to the National Academy of Engineering in 1995, and was a member of its Council from 2001 to 2007.

Dr. Paté-Cornell holds a Ph.D. in engineering-economic systems and a Masters of Science in operations research from Stanford University. Dr. Paté-Cornell also received an M.S. degree in applied mathematics and computer science from the Institut Polytechnique de Grenoble in France.
