Hans Peter “H.P.” Michelet

Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors

H.P. Michelet has been a member of ERI’s board of directors since 1995 and its chairman from 2004.  He also serves as the chairman of the board of directors of SynchroNet Logistics Inc., a maritime technology service provider. Mr. Michelet is a member of the board of directors of IRIS Forskningsinvest, a leading research and development institute in Norway. He is also a member of the international advisory board of the Virgin Green Fund and on the board of Profunda, one of the world’s leading cod farms.

Before joining ERI’s board, Mr. Michelet worked for Delphi Asset Management and was instrumental in turning Delphi into one of the fastest growing Norwegian asset management companies. He was CEO at Fiba Nordic Securities, where he was instrumental in positioning the firm as a major Scandinavian investment bank. He also held key roles at Finanshuset and Storebrand Insurance Corporation.  Mr. Michelet holds a BA in Finance from the University of Oregon.
