ERI’s Pressure Exchanger (PX™) technology has quickly become the "gold standard" energy recovery device in seawater reverse osmosis. It has received numerous awards, including most recenty a GWI Distinction Award for its successful IPO in 2008. ERI received the Sydney Loeb award for outstanding innovation given by the European Desalination Society (EDS) in 2006 in recognition of the PX device’s invention, development and successful introduction to the desalination market. It also received the 2007 Global Water Intelligence Award for Environmental Contribution of the Year, which best reflects the ability of a water/wastewater plant to leave a small environmental footprint.
