Vice President, Oil & Gas Product Development

Ismail Nawaz is the Vice President for Oil and Gas product development at Energy Recovery Inc. Prior to ERI, Ismail headed Schlumberger’s Intelligent Completions department where he was responsible for a portfolio of products and services, as well as leading engineering and manufacturing teams. Ismail's diverse career ranges in field operations management, training, technical management, global account management, and business development. He also has extensive working experience in wireline, testing, artificial lift and completions technologies and has worked in the Middle East, Asia, Europe, Latin as well as North America. 
 
As an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) since 1984, Ismail has contributed his services as board member of Pakistan Chapter and keynote speaker for Applied Technology Workshop in Doha. Ismail holds an MBA degree from Sloan School of Management at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Petroleum Engineering degree from the University of Engineering and Technology in Lahore, Pakistan as well as a private pilot license from the United States.
