Hans Peter “HP” Michelet, Executive Chairman of the ERI Board of Directors since March 2008.  Prior to being named the executive chairman of our board, Mr. Michelet had served chairman of the ERI  board since September 2004 and a member of the board of directors since 1995.   Mr. Michelet's other current directorships include serving as the chairman of the board of directors of SynchroNet Marine Inc., a maritime technology service provider, since 2000 and a member of the board of directors of Arvarius AS, a privately held Norwegian investment company, since 1997.  In 1997, "HP" joined Delphi Asset Management as a Director, where he was instrumental in turning Delphi into one of the fastest growing Norwegian asset management companies. In 1992 he was promoted to Deputy Managing Director of Fiba Nordic Securities AS and ultimately became CEO in 1994. There, he was instrumental in positioning the firm as a major Scandinavian investment bank previously in 1989, he became Director of Finanshuset AS, where he was responsible for creating the Scandinavian fixed income department. In his From 1986-1989  H P worked as Portfolio Manager for Storebrand Insurance Corp. (Norway). At Storebrand, Mr. Michelet's managed the company's "non-life" cash position, equity portfolios and fixed income portfolio valuing approximately $5 billion.  Mr. Michelet holds a B.A. in Finance from the University of Oregon.

G.G. Pique, President and CEO, has over 30 years of experience managing fast-growth global businesses in the water space. Mr. Pique has been involved with ERI and instrumental in its 100-fold growth since its turnaround in 2000. "GG" has been ERI's CEO since 2002, providing a unique vision and culture. Previously Mr. Pique was a Senior Vice President and Corporate officer of US Filter Corp., a Fortune 500, NYSE water company where he drove a 25% division internal growth rate while simultaneously integrating an avalanche of multi-national acquisitions. The parting feedback from colleague Andy Seidel was: "GG, you have built the best water business in your segment, with creativity, risk taking and pure hard work. I have always respected your loyalty and good judgment." Mr. Pique has been in charge of the design, start-up and operation of dozens of SWRO desalination plants and is recognized as a technical expert in the reverse osmosis field. Richard Stover, Ph.D., Sr. Vice President Sales and CTO has 20 years of research, development and engineering experience with 3M, IBM and ERI. He joined ERI in 2002 to develop and launch the PX-220, which has since become the leading energy recovery device in seawater desalination. Dr. Stover's numerous publications and achievements have earned him international recognition as an expert in energy recovery and process optimization in reverse osmosis systems. He holds responsibility for technical product-support services, strategic positioning of PX® technology, and managing and expanding ERI's intellectual property holdings. In addition, in his current role as Vice President of Sales, he is responsible for strategic growth and risk management. Dr. Stover was a co-recipient of the European Desalination Society's 2006 Sidney Loeb award for outstanding innovation. Borja Blanco, VP, GM - Large Projects Division, Mr. Blanco has held many positions with leading water related companies world-wide. Prior to joining Energy Recovery, Inc. (ERI), he was Managing Director of Veolia Enerserve, overseeing multiple BOOT desalination projects. He joined ERI in the year 2005, to run its newly created Large Projects Division, involving projects ≥ 50,000 m3/day in production capacity. Mr. Blanco opened ERI's European Headquarters in 2006 and since has successfully grown the European division by increasing desalination water capacity to over 2.6 million cubic meters per day with 17 projects awarded.   Hattie Wang – VP and GM – OEM Projects Division, heads the company’s OEM projects group focused on small-medium sized contracts including projects ≤ 50,000 m3/day in production capacity.  Ms. Wang joined ERI in 2002 and became the company’s China Sales Manager where she was instrumental in developing the regional sales efforts.    In 2005, Ms. Wang became VP and GM and now oversees a team of seasoned sales managers with offices in Shanghai, Dubai and Florida. She brings with her a successful track record of growing and supporting OEM sales in the global market. Her experience in project management and equipment sales for the oil field and water industries are invaluable in expanding ERI's OEM product line world-wide. Tom Willardson, Chief Financial Officer, has over 30 years of financial experience in leading efforts for public and private equity investments, international contract negotiations and investor relations management.  His career includes working as Executive Vice President/CFO and member of the Board of Directors at Cost Plus as well as CFO and senior corporate finance positions at such companies as Bechtel Corporation, Fluor Daniel, Leap Wireless (Qualcomm spin-off), Archimedes Technology Group and Visual Sciences. Tom heads all areas of finance and accounting including cash management, tax, international and domestic contracts and all areas of investor relations and management of outside auditors. Maria Elena Ross, Vice President of Administration and Human Resources is charged with guiding the development and execution of global HR strategies. She has overall responsibility for the planning, organizing and direction of the human resources function and is responsible for review and management of the company’s administrative and legal affairs. MariaElena has over 18 years experience in HR management for high-tech, engineering consulting, telecommunications and manufacturing companies in the Silicon Valley and the East Bay.  MariaElena has a B.A. degree in Anthropology from U.C. Berkeley, a teaching credential from University of San Francisco, and a J.D. from Hastings College of the Law. She may be reached at meross@energyrecovery.com.

Audrey Bold, Vice President, Marketing, heads the world-wide, corporate marketing department to manage the company's rapidly expanding global marketing objectives. She has held several marketing management positions with information technology companies and brings with her over 12 years of experience in developing strategic marketing initiatives in growth environments. Ms. Bold joined ERI in 2005 and since has been involved in the marketing direction of the company and PX technology brand. She received her B.A. degree in Multi-disciplinary Studies from Michigan State University.  Ms. Bold may be reached at abold@energyrecovery.com.

Terry Sandlin, Vice President of Manufacturing: Terry has over 25 years of experience in product manufacturing. Prior to joining ERI, he held positions as Plant Manager for Whitney Research (a valve manufacturer supplying exclusively for Swagelok Company) and Director of Manufacturing for Novus Packaging Corporation (a start-up packaging material company acquired by FP International). His expertise includes manufacturing engineering, production and material management, and quality control. Mr. Sandlin holds a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from U.C. Berkeley.

William “Bill” Anderson, Vice President of Service, Operations, and Maintenance Group heads the Customer Service and Support Group focusing on providing PX® extended warranties, skilled field services professionals for commissioning and start-up, and hands-on operator training.  Bill is in charge of all ERI service facilities, operation and maintenance contracts, and field service.  Recently promoted due to his keen customer service abilities and in depth knowledge of PX® products, he joined ERI in 2002 as Director of Technical Services. Bill has participated in, and managed the startup of over 100 SWRO projects. Bill's goal, and the goal of the entire ERI Technical Services Group, is to insure that all clients understand and are successfully operating their ERI products.
