We share our engineering and leadership expertise in many forms. We have run a successful STEM program at Marin County High School to foster interest in careers in the sciences, as well as a mentoring program at Castlemont High School in Oakland. We run internship programs at Energy Recovery that allow promising young people to develop professional experience at the company, and have a presence at regional job fairs. We also partner with organizations to offer our expertise on board positions, such as the Boys & Girls Clubs of San Leandro.
Energy Recovery offers staff the opportunity to devote some of their time for volunteer work. In addition, we encourage groups within the company to develop initiatives around diversity and inclusion, such as the current Women’s Leadership Group.
Energy Recovery has made donations to organizations that help give opportunities to young people, such as the Boys & Girls Clubs of San Leandro.
