    President and Chief Executive Officer
    Chris Gannon is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Energy Recovery and brings substantial experience in leading organizations through rapid change. Most recently Mr. Gannon served as Energy Recovery’s Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Energy Recovery, Mr. Gannon was a Managing Director at Conway MacKenzie, where he advised the City of Detroit throughout its historic bankruptcy and subsequent restructuring. Mr. Gannon also led the private equity investment arm of Talon Group and served as a finance operating partner to private equity funds through Caledonia Group.

  • JOSHUA BALLARD

    Chief Financial Officer
    Joshua Ballard is the Chief Financial Officer at Energy Recovery and is responsible for all finance, IT, and investor relations organizations for the company. He brings more than 20 years of finance and operations experience, both domestically and internationally, working across industries within complex organizations to successfully navigate high growth. Most recently he held the position of Operating Partner at Orox Capital Management and holds a CFA, CMA and MBA.

    Nocair Bensalah is the Vice President of Operations at Energy Recovery, and is responsible for the development and execution of the company’s operations strategy, including all processes involved in the procurement and provision of the company’s products. He brings 15 years of experience from a variety of technical and operational leadership roles, including senior positions at ABB Inc. and Aegion Corporation.

    Rodney Clemente is the Vice President of Water at Energy Recovery and is responsible for all of the company’s sales, technical service, support, and aftermarket activities for the global water business unit.   • FARSHAD GHASRIPOOR

    Chief Technology Officer
    Farshad Ghasripoor is the Chief Technology Officer at Energy Recovery and is responsible for the conceptualization and ongoing development of the revolutionary VorTeq hydraulic pumping system. Previously, he served a 12-year term at GE, and he is the named inventor on 59 US patent applications. He received his PhD from Brunel University of West London in the UK.

  • JEREMY MARTIN

    Vice President, Product Development
    Jeremy Martin is the Vice President of Product Development and is responsible for understanding Energy Recovery’s core technology, technical competencies, and business needs to develop and execute against a comprehensive product development strategy. He is the company’s expert in the PX Pressure Exchanger technology and also spearheaded the development of the IsoGen turbogenerator and IsoBoost turbocharger systems. Mr. Martin earned his Executive MBA at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and his BS in Mechanical Engineering at Cornell University.

    Stacy Proctor is Vice President of Human Resources at Energy Recovery.  With two decades of human resources and operations experience across mid-to-large cap companies, Ms. Proctor oversees the strategic HR function including global talent acquisition and development and implementation of the company’s human capital strategy. Prior to joining Energy Recovery in 2019, Ms. Proctor served in executive human resources roles at the Palo Alto Research Center (PARC) and Mizuho OSI. Ms. Proctor holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah.

    Vice President, Oil & Gas
    Eric Siebert is the Vice President of Oil & Gas at Energy Recovery and is responsible for the company’s Oil & Gas products, strategy, and sales. Previously, he served as Energy Recovery’s Vice President of Corporate Strategy and as General Manager of Coating Services for Aegion Corporation, where he helped to establish Aegion’s Eastern Hemisphere headquarters in Dubai. Mr. Siebert holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS in Business Administration from Illinois Wesleyan University.

    Emily Smith is the Vice President of Corporate Development at Energy Recovery where she is responsible for leading organization-wide strategic growth objectives and partnerships, corporate communications, and market intelligence. She joined the company in 2011 and has held several positions during her tenure, including VP of Marketing, Senior Director of Corporate Development, Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, and the Strategic Analyst to the CEO. Previously, Ms. Smith held various roles at Aegion Corporation, most notably as Controller. She holds an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.

  • BRANDON YOUNG

    Corporate Controller
    Brandon Young serves as Corporate Controller with Energy Recovery, where he is responsible for the company’s financial and accounting functions in the U.S. and globally.  In addition, he is a key contributor to the company’s strategic financial planning and oversees compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and laws applicable to Energy Recovery’s position as a publicly traded company on the Nasdaq Stock Market. Mr. Young, who joined Energy Recovery in 2012, most recently served as Assistant Controller before assuming his current position in 2019.
